Maintenance Actions

I have a couple maintenance practices but at the moment, my daily 3 mile walks are the most important part of my art practice. Last year, I started an art project in order to have an excuse to walk on the shoreline weekly. I submitted this art project to a show at the Richmond Art Center and I'll be showing this work in September. What started as a reason to get out and walk semi-regularly, has turned into daily walks and they've gotten longer and longer. I'm still also making the art with the plastic I collect from the shore but now I find that I need the walks every day. I guess if I had a dog, this would be a less surprising act. But I have cats so I have to invent my own motivation to get out and walk.
