Amy Lange
About
Amy Lange is a textile artist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is a native of the west coast, having grown up half her life in the Bay and the other half in rural Central Oregon. She received her BFA in Fibers from the University of Oregon in 2009, and received her MFA from California College of the Arts in spring 2017. She is a founding member of Borderline Art Collective in San Francisco and has worked in arts education since 2011.
Maintenance Actions
I often take pictures of objects as reminders. I hold them up to my phone camera in my left hand—turns out they all have a similar type of significance to me and my practice.
